    Because weather is not climate.

    It’s not possible to point to any one event and say “that’s due to man-made climate change.”

      I absolutely agree. But at the same time, climate influences the weather and climate scientists have for years been predicting precisely the kind of extreme weather the world has been experiencing lately as a result of anthropegenic climate change. Are the unprecedented heat waves, droughts, flooding and hurricanes all simply a coincidence? Perhaps, but I somehow doubt it. I think this is the point of the satirical video: the seeming reluctance or inability of weather reporters to connect the dots from the increased probability of extreme weather events to climate change.
