Special guest episode of Radio EcoShock on Earthgauge Radio tomorrow: Exit environmentalism?
On Earthgauge Radio this week, as part of our summer programming, we’re trying something a little bit different. We’re featuring some of the great environmental programming happening in other parts of the world. In the first half of the show, we’ll be hearing a recent edition of Radio EcoShock produced out of Vancouver by Alex Smith. On this episode, we’ll hear the program EXIT ENVIRONMENTALISM? in which alternative energy expert Robert Rapier explains the oil crisis, & why climate will hit us like a hurricane. Also Seth Moser-Katz and Justin Ritchie, podcasters from “The Extraenvironmentalist” – interview law Professor and Greenpeace icon Professor Michael M’Gonigle on his rethink called “exit environmentalism”. Are we leaving Green, or leaving the system?
Also on the program today, I have an interview with Charles Hodgson who produces the blog climateottawa.ca. He’ll tell us about the recent City of Ottawa greenhouse gas inventory and what is going on at city hall with regard to Ottawa’s commitment to reducing GHGs.
Tune in at 7:00-8:00 AM on CKCU 93.1 FM in Ottawa, or listen anytime online at ckcufm.com or earthgauge.ca.
