Thanks Tony! Yes, I neglected to check off the interactive box for this show. My bad! I usually remember to do this. And I agree it would be great to get some funding support from organizations who get profiles or air time on the show. I also reached out to them during the funding drive but without much success. Ecology Ottawa included the funding drive in their email newsletter and also mentioned the show on their web site so that was something. Not sure if it brought in any donations though. Thanks for bringing up some important issues with Mayor Watson. It was a very interesting interview.
best wishes,
Mark

Hi Mark Great show this morning! Getting Naomi Klein was a major coup. The first speaker (from the conference) was even better. I brought up Earthgauge on last Friday’s Window of Opportunity when I had Mayor Jim Watson co-hosting. Podcast here . I am very disappointed that none of the individuals or organizations you have presented have sponsored the show as far as I could tell. I did speak to both Climate Ottawa and Ecology Ottawa to suggest they contributed to Earthgauge, but no result. I would recommend you tell your guests about the funding drive concept as soon as the interviews are in the can. What you need is a show sponsor; again the first place to look is among the many organizations you do free publicity for. I also recommend you tick the box on COD to allow for interactive CKCU. This morning’s show is completely absent from COD/On Demand. Kindest regard - Tony Tony Copple, CFP. Investors Group Financial Services Inc. 150-40 Hines Rd., Kanata, ON., K2K 2M5 613-591-7639, 613-591-3903 (Home office) http://web.ncf.ca/aj624/finance.html New clients accepted by referral only
