But at the same time, climate influences the weather and climate scientists have for years been predicting precisely the kind of extreme weather the world has been experiencing lately as a result of anthropegenic climate change. Are the unprecedented heat waves, droughts, flooding and hurricanes all simply a coincidence? Perhaps, but I somehow doubt it. I think this is the point of the satirical video: the seeming reluctance or inability of weather reporters to connect the dots from the increased probability of extreme weather events to climate change.]]></description>
